Utility work closes SR 347/Riggs Road intersection at times Sunday

The intersection of State Route 347 and Riggs Road north of Maricopa is scheduled to be closed intermittently on Sunday for traffic signal and utility work, state transportation officials said.

The intersection is expected to be closed in all directions for up to 15 minutes each time between 4 a.m. and 4 p.m. May 17.

ADOT is preparing for the SR 347 Improvement Project, which is scheduled to begin this summer.
