US60 closure between Loop 101 and Mesa Drive Jan. 13-16

The Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers to plan for closures and lane restrictions on the U.S. Highway 60 Superstition Freeway between Loop 101 and Mesa Drive for pavement rehabilitation.

Westbound US60 between Greenfield and Gilbert roads will have nightly lane restrictions from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. through the morning of Friday, Jan. 13. 

Eastbound US60 between Loop 101 and Mesa Drive will be closed from 9 p.m. Friday, Jan. 13, to 5 a.m. Monday, Jan. 16.

US60 closure between Loop 101 and Mesa Drive Jan. 13-16

The Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers to plan for closures and lane restrictions on the U.S. Highway 60 Superstition Freeway between Loop 101 and Mesa Drive for pavement rehabilitation.

Westbound US60 between Greenfield and Gilbert roads will have nightly lane restrictions from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. through the morning of Friday, Jan. 13. 

Eastbound US60 between Loop 101 and Mesa Drive will be closed from 9 p.m. Friday, Jan. 13, to 5 a.m. Monday, Jan. 16.

Detours: Drivers can consider utilizing surface streets such as Southern Avenue or Broadway Road to connect with their destinations to the north of US60 and Baseline or Guadalupe roads south of US60. Alternate freeway routes include the Loop 202 Santan Freeway.  

Upcoming closures/restrictions include: 

  • Nightly lane restrictions along westbound US60 between Greenfield and Gilbert roads will be in place from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. beginning
  • Wednesday, Jan. 18, through the morning of Friday, Jan. 20. 
    Eastbound US60 between Mesa Drive and Gilbert Road will be closed from 9 p.m. Friday, Jan. 20, to 5 a.m. Monday, Jan. 23.

The improvement work along 14 miles of US60 will occur over several months and will require numerous closures. ADOT advises drivers to slow down and use caution around construction personnel and equipment while work is underway.
