The project will continue to require some lane closures on McClintock Drive near US 60, and city officials said those should be lifted by Friday, Oct. 28.
Tempe Mayor Corey Woods thanked city staff, contractors and the Arizona Department of Transportation for their help and work.
“Our team came together to quickly and safely repair US 60 when it burst, and they have proven yet again that they are able to work together to keep traffic flowing now,” Woods said.
