INDEPENDENT NEWSMEDIA
Drivers should prepare for weekend closures and restrictions along US 60 between Country Club and Mesa drives, state transportation officials said.
Eastbound US 60 will be closed between Country Club and Mesa drives from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights for bridge maintenance.
Eastbound on-ramps will be closed at Dobson and Alma School roads. Arizona Department of Transportation officials suggest taking Southern Avenue or Baseline Road to reenter US 60 beyond the closure.
In addition, westbound US 60 will be narrowed to four lanes (two left lanes closed) between Mesa and Country Club drives from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights for bridge maintenance.
