UPDATE: Another high-tech company could be coming to north Valley

But neither city of Peoria nor Hyperion are talking much about it

The city of Peoria may have landed another post-fab service provider as part of the burgeoning semiconductor supply chain forming in the north Valley.

Phoenix-based Hyperion Technologies has announced plans to build a 600,000-square-foot, high-volume semiconductor substrate manufacturing facility on 45 acres in the Vistancia area of north Peoria, according to the company’s website.

The company website goes on to say the Peoria project will create thousands of jobs and billions in economic input.
