In an earlier report the Glendale Independent erroneously indicated that the gunshot wound was fatal, but it was not. The Independent regrets the error.
Glendale police reports that the victim remains hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.
The suspect is still outstanding, and GPD detectives are actively working the case.
The suspect is described as a male in his late teens to early 20s. He was driving a four-door sedan. Investigators are asking anyone that may have any information to contact the Glendale Police Department at 623-930-3000.
