After nearly a week-long search, Benny Sutton Jr., 63, was found dead in Yavapai County on the morning of Nov. 6, a result of the heavy rains that pummeled the state last weekend.

Yavapai County Sheriff David Rhodes said it is with heavy hearts that the search of Sutton Jr. ended tragically.

“The Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office extends its condolences to Mr. Sutton’s family, friends, and coworkers as they navigate this unimaginable loss,” Rhodes said.
