Valley residents can run in undies for a good cause

Annual event raises money, awareness for genetic disorder

Hundreds of Valley residents will take to the streets in just their undies for the upcoming Cupid’s Undie Run.

The country’s largest pant-less party and mile-ish run for charity raises awareness of neurofibromatosis, a genetic disorder that causes tumors to grow on nerves throughout the body. The event raises money for NF research through the Children’s Tumor Foundation.

In addition to taking place in 33 other cities across the U.S., the event goes from noon to 4 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 21 at R.T. O’Sullivan’s Sports Grill in Scottsdale. The run starts at 2 p.m.
