A husband and wife Celtic folk and world music duo will bring their music, poetry, folklore and stories from the Celtic Lands in celebration of the winter season.
Four Shillings Short, comprised of Christy Martin and Aodh Og O’Tuama, will perform at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 3 at Fiddler’s Dream Coffeehouse in Phoenix.
Four Shillings Short performs traditional and original music from the Celtic lands, medieval and Renaissance Europe, India and the Americas on an array of more than 30 instruments including Hammered & Mountain dulcimer, mandolin, mandola, bouzouki, tinwhistles, recorders, medieval and Renaissance woodwinds, North Indian sitar, charango, bowed psaltery, banjo, bodhran, guitar, percussion, vocals, and a krumhorn.

The couple have released 13 recordings and live as full time troubadours traveling from town to town performing at music festivals, theatres, and performing arts centers, folk societies, libraries, house concerts and schools.
The couple opens its 29th year of touring the U.S. and Ireland in 2026.
