Ballet Arizona opens with sold-out shows for ‘The Nutcracker’

The School of Ballet Arizona opened its annual performances of “The Nutcracker” at Phoenix Symphony Hall in downtown Phoenix on Friday, Dec. 12.

The performance was the only one accompanied by the Phoenix Symphony, and included performers from around the world.

“When the audience gives them an uproarious applause, it fills be with immense pride for the company, and it’s such a privilege to be part of it,” said Jami Kozemczak, executive director of Ballet Arizona, after the show.
