The Herberger Theater is inviting Arizona artists to apply for upcoming exhibits.
According to the downtown Phoenix theater, the theme for an avian exhibit birds have long been symbols of beauty, freedom, fragility, and power.
“We invite artists to explore the rich and diverse world of birds through visual art,” the theater states. “Whether through literal depictions, abstract interpretations, or symbolic representations, we seek work that captures the essence of avian life in all its forms.”

The Herberger Theater is inviting Arizona artists to apply for upcoming exhibits.
According to the downtown Phoenix theater, the theme for an avian exhibit birds have long been symbols of beauty, freedom, fragility, and power.
“We invite artists to explore the rich and diverse world of birds through visual art,” the theater states. “Whether through literal depictions, abstract interpretations, or symbolic representations, we seek work that captures the essence of avian life in all its forms.”
Also, a Grand Canyon exhibit is planning to celebrate the National Park’s ever-changing landscape.
“We are looking for your interpretation of the majestic Grand Canyon from realism to impressionism to abstract,” the theater states. “We also hope to help bring awareness to the recent wildfires that devastated the North Rim.”
The deadline to apply for both is Friday, Jan. 16. Click here to apply.
The exhibits will be on display at the Herberger Theater Center from April 3 through May 31 and will be curated by Connie and A O Tucker.
