Scottsdale Arts working “fast and furious” for the community

“It’s been a fast and furious six months for Scottsdale Arts,” Dr. Gerd Wuestemann, president and CEO of Scottsdale Arts, recently told the Scottsdale City Council.

The 853-seat Scottsdale Center for the Performing Arts theater got a refresh this summer with new carpet and fresh new woodwork for its 50th anniversary season.

Over 150 acts were booked at the center for the anniversary year and a book with images from performances from the center’s first 50 years was created.
