Universities looking after students staying in Valley for break

It would take Arizona State University student Anirudh Manjesh 24 hours minimum to go home to Bangalore, India, so traveling for this short holiday weekend is out of the question.

But ASU has not forgotten about Manjesh or students like him. The university is putting on a “Gratitude Meal” Thursday at each of its four main campuses in which students not traveling home can indulge in the American tradition of the Thanksgiving meal.

For Manjesh, it is a first, and he is here for it.
