U-Haul buys Phoenix building for $23.7 million

A longtime Phoenix-based company is getting some new digs.

U-Haul International, which has based in Phoenix since 1967, bought a skyscraper near downtown Phoenix that will transform into the new U-Haul headquarters, according to a press release.

The 548,938-square-foot building at 20 E. Thomas Road is 25 floors and is 397 feet tall and is among the most recognizable structures in the area, the press release stated.
