Two Valley programs aimed to prevent prostitution reoffenders are expanding

Two Valley programs to keep people arrested for sex work or for buying sex from reoffending are expanding.

The programs, both run by Catholic Charities, also offer an opportunity for sex workers who are arrested to avoid jail time and for those arrested for buying sex the opportunity to submit a plea for a reduced sentence.

The DIGNITY Diversion Program for sex workers arrested in Phoenix is expanding to Estrella Jail near 27th Avenue and Buckeye Road.
