Two more arrests made in Gilbert alleged assault

Posted

The Gilbert Police Department made two additional arrests Jan. 30 in connection to an alleged assault and robbery investigation involving teen violence, officials said.

Deleon Haynes, 19, and a 17-year-old juvenile were arrested and charged with aggravated robbery and aggravated assault, according to police.

The incident is believed to have occurred Aug. 18 in a parking lot near Williams Field Road and Market Street, police said.

Including these two arrests, the total number of arrests made in this case is six.

Previously arrested in connection with the case were Christopher Fantastic, 18; Aris Arrendondo, 18; and two 16-year-old juveniles, police said.

The case is independent of Queen Creek police's investigation of the Preston Lord homicide.
