Two men have been indicted by a grand jury in what officials said was a combined 70 counts for their participation in an organized retail theft ring, according to the Arizona Attorney General’s Office.

Alexander Moreno Dantzler and Christopher Campos-Henrey were allegedly part of a ring that targeted Walmarts in Maricopa, Pima, Pinal, Cochise, Graham, Mohave and Yavapai counties, stealing more than $140,000 worth of merchandise.

Two men indicted in organized retail theft ring in Arizona

Two men have been indicted by a grand jury in what officials said was a combined 70 counts for their participation in an organized retail theft ring, according to the Arizona Attorney General’s Office.

Alexander Moreno Dantzler and Christopher Campos-Henrey were allegedly part of a ring that targeted Walmarts in Maricopa, Pima, Pinal, Cochise, Graham, Mohave and Yavapai counties, stealing more than $140,000 worth of merchandise.

Among the charges Dantzler and Campos-Henrey indicted on were organized retail theft, fraudulent schemes and artifices, theft, illegally conducting an enterprise, attempted retail theft and trafficking in stolen property, according to the indictments

Products stolen included everything from cologne and electronics to video games, according to the indictments.

The indictments came after investigations by the Arizona Attorney General’s Office, the Pima County Sheriff’s Department, the Oro Valley Police Department, The Arizona Department of Public Safety and the Sahuarita Police Department.
