Man charged with killing wife, mother-in-law in Sun City

Suspect arrested for murder

Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office deputies have arrested Robert Alan McGrath, 60, as a suspect in the killing of his wife, Marcia McGrath, 53, and mother-in-law, Thea Merlino, 77, at their Sun City home early June 25.

Robert McGrath is charged with two counts of premeditated murder first degree and kidnapping and one count each of armed robbery with a deadly weapon, first degree burglary and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
