Turkey, food donations welcome in Glendale for families in need

Phoenix Rescue Mission is welcoming food donations to help families in need have a happy holiday season.
Donations of any quantity can be dropped off at Hope for Hunger Food Bank, at 5605 N. 55th Ave., in Glendale, where staff or volunteers will be collecting. Phoenix Rescue Mission has expanded this annual tradition, and donations are now being accepted Monday through Saturday, from Nov. 6 through Nov. 11.
Hope for Hunger is open from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday through Friday, Nov. 6 through Nov. 10, and from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 11.
