Mr. ORNG charged with attempted sexual exploitation of a minor

The case against a Goodyear resident known for revving up the crowd as Mr. ORNG during Phoenix Suns games is set to go to trial in November.

The Goodyear resident — former Peoria High School varsity boys basketball coach Patrick Battillo — faces four counts of attempted sexual exploitation of a minor after allegedly messaging a 15-year-old boy via Snapchat about selling images and videos of the student depicting various sex acts and in states of nudity, according to court records.

His trial date is set for 9 a.m. Monday, Nov. 4, at Maricopa County Superior Court in Phoenix.
