The trial date for a Surprise man accused of killing one and injuring 12 others in a 2021 northwest Valley shooting spree won’t happen as previously scheduled in February.
Instead, the trial date was pushed to Oct. 22 after the man, Ashin Tricarico, was scheduled to appear at a hearing at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 20 at Maricopa County Superior Court in Phoenix.
But a settlement conference is scheduled several months ahead of the October date — at 10 a.m. = April 5, the Maricopa County Superior Court website stated.
