Trial date for 2021 West Valley shooter suspect pushed to 2025

The Surprise man accused in 2021 shooting spree is not expected to go to trial in 2024, according to the Maricopa County Superior Court website.

Instead, the man — Ashin Tricarico — is scheduled to have a pre-trial conference hearing on Jan. 27 before his scheduled trial date of Friday, Feb. 3, the website stated.

On April 5, his defense attorneys told Maricopa County Superior Court Judge Michael Kemp he was rejecting a plea deal, court documents stated.
