Tressie Holgate

Tressie Holgate, 92 years old, passed from this life on May 27, 2018, in Surprise, AZ, with her niece Iris by her side. Tressie Belle Jones was born on September 16, 1925 in Mesa, AZ. Preceded in death by her husband, Willard Holgate and son Brent; she is survived by her son, Greg and his wife, Barbara, and their families. She is also survived by her twin sister, Dessie Ernspiker and her family as well as the families of her late brothers: Bill, Frank, Ellis and sister Cleo.She lived in Arizona, California, Oregon, and Washington before returning to live in Sun City, AZ to be closer to her twin sister.Loving wife, mother, sister, aunt and grandmother; Tressie was also an accomplished artist who received many awards and taught classes. She enjoyed an active life style which included tennis, bowling, and dancing.She was a blessing to her family; her smile and great sense of humor will be missed.
