Casa Blanca home designed to ‘utilize space’

In the past nearly 100 years, Casa Blanca Estates in Scottsdale, next to the border of Paradise Valley and near Camelback Mountain, has transformed from a wealthy mansion to a resort, to what is now a gated residential community.

Kim OBrien’s home in Casa Blanca is part of the original mansion built in 1936, which is now divided into 10 units. The entrance to her unit is through a breezeway that also leads to a rose garden. The breezeway may have been added to the house later.
