Town of Florence land at Hunt, Attaway swapped with developer

The developer will get 0.731 acres purchased for $5,000 by the town in 2000 from Union Pacific Railroad.

The town of Florence will take ownership of two parcels — near a well site (labeled as B) and a utility road (labeled as C) — along a canal west of State Route 79.

Land owned by the town of Florence at Hunt Highway and Attaway Road is to be swapped with a developer that plans to develop a Circle K there.

In exchange, the town will take ownership of two parcels — near a well site and a utility road — along a canal west of State Route 79.

The Florence Town Council on Jan. 3 voted unanimously to approve swapping the land with Florence PG53 LLC with the understanding that it does not hinder adding a traffic signal at the Hunt/Attaway intersection.
