With three seats on the Florence Town Council up for grabs, Nicole Buccellato, Jose "Mo" Maldonado and current Vice Mayor Michelle Cordes have received the most votes.
And a statement released this evening by the town of Florence has announced that "our council races will not need to head to a runoff this winter."
"While our local election results are still pending, the town is planning to canvass our final results at the next town council meeting on Aug. 15," the statement added. "This action will certify our local results and set the stage to swear in the town’s new councilmembers, which will occur on Dec. 5."
