Mockingbird Lane’s additional sidewalk is on the agenda for Paradise Valley Town Council’s next meeting Feb. 23.
The conversation comes after town council sent the issue back to Planning Commission for further review and conduct additional public outreach. The issue of the Mockingbird Lane sidewalk has had split opinions from both the public and commission members.
“I’m proud of our town for really engaging and taking the time to hear all sides of an issue, including at the house-by-house level, and also getting the expertise of our planning commission and their recommendation,” said Mayor Jerry Bien-Willner. “And I’m excited for everybody to have a revamped and new, significantly improved street, whether it includes a sidewalk or not.”
