Phoenix, Arizona tourism jobs struggle to return

Panoramic canyon sites at Grand Canyon National Park and the glitz and glow of Scottsdale nights didn’t suffer devastating economic blows during the pandemic.

In fact, tourism in the Grand Canyon state seems continued to chug along during 2020, despite the COVID-19 pandemic that made travel challenging.

According to the Office of Arizona Tourism, Arizona saw billions in tourism dollars funnel into the state by way of overnight visitors who opened their pocket books in 2020.
