1. New stores opening at Glendale mall this weekend
With perfect timing of the new school year back on Aug. 1, the grand reopening of Hot Topic at Arrowhead Towne Center caught the most residents’ attention in 2025. Also, the B. W. Bakery, better known as Baker Wee in Phoenix, featuring its custom cakes and neighborhood roots, celebrated 30 years of serving the Valley with the opening of its second location at the mall.
