Tolleson Union High School District superintendent announces she is resigning, plans to retire

Nora Gutierrez, superintendent of Tolleson Union High School District, has announced that she will be retiring after the current school years ends.

She has been the district’s superintendent for seven years and has had a career working in education for 40 years.

“I would like the community to know that I tendered my resignation recently. I will be leaving the district that I have grown to know and love over the last seven years. As I embark on my retirement, I can honestly say that it has been an incredible journey,” Gutierrez wrote.
