Tohono O’odham Nation has awarded nearly $137,000 in grant funding to the Peoria Fire-Medical Department.

Peoria city council approved the award as listed on the consent agenda, Dec. 12.

The Tohono O’odham Nation uses a portion of its annual 12% local revenue-sharing contribution to be used by cities and their residents for services that benefit the general public.
