Time for a change in Congressional District 8 representation

Sun City West reader unhappy with Hamadeh’s performance

OPINION — I heartily concur with Anne Whitmore’s letter, “Why is Abe Hamadeh defending the Tate brothers?” concerning our representative’s strange championing of Andrew and Tristan Tate, who face 59 criminal charges of sexual assault in the U.K.

I’m seriously confused because I thought his responsibility and actual job is to represent those of us in Congressional District 8, Arizona.

Instead of holding Town Hall meetings where he can hear from his constituents, he’s busy fighting extradition for these two highly questionable men. It’s simply not in his purview and he needs to focus on his constituents and by that I mean all of us, not just the Republicans he picks and chooses to attend photo ops in his D.C. office glittering with golden gewgaws in emulation of the president.
