Tickets are on sale now for the Arizona State Fair, which returns in October after COVID put last year’s event on hold.
The fair officially opens at 5 p.m. Friday, Oct. 1, and runs through Saturday, Oct. 30, at the fairgrounds it has called home since 1905 at 1826 W. McDowell Road, in Phoenix, at the intersection of 19th Avenue and McDowell Road. The event is open Wednesdays through Sundays during the month of October.
Amusement rides and games line the grounds along with plenty of food. The farming community also shows off its livestock.
