Through Each Other’s Eyes hosts photography seminar in Scottsdale

The Phoenix-based nonprofit Through Each Other’s Eyes will host an immersive photography seminar on Saturday, Oct. 3, 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Western Spirit Museum, 3830 N. Marshall Way, in Scottsdale.

The event will bring together three of Arizona’s accomplished photographers for a rare, behind the lens look at the experiences, techniques and creative philosophies that have shaped their careers, according to a press release.

Joel Grimes, Scott Baxter and Jeff Kida will explore topics ranging from reinventing yourself as an artist to the discipline behind long-term documentary projects, as well as the editorial perspective of one of the people helping define the photographic vision of Arizona Highways.

The day concludes with a live audience question and answer session, allowing attendees to engage directly with all three presenters.

The symposium celebrates the power of photography to deepen understanding of people, places and cultures while inspiring photographers at every stage of their journey.

Tickets are $75, and seating is limited. A continental breakfast and snacks will be provided. Free parking is available in the City of Scottsdale’s underground garage.
