Three Chandler intersections among most dangerous in Valley

MAG released 'bottom 100' list this week

Three intersections owned and maintained by the city of Chandler showed up on a list of 100 of concern, released this week by the Maricopa Association of Governments.

The intersections of  Price and Queen Creek roads, Ray Road and Arrowhead Drive and  Ray and Dobson roads are ranked  Nos. 11, 57 and 71 respectively on the list, which uses a complex scoring system and  2018-22 crash data.

MAG released the report Nov. 21. The intersection with the highest number of crashes — 229 — was in Phoenix at 67th Avenue and McDowell Road, it states.
