OPINION — Costs are skyrocketing, there’s chaos in Washington, Arizona unemployment is rising, ICE is undermining due process and all the while, taxpayers are watching the Maricopa County Recorder Justin Heap work tirelessly to undermine our elections.
I wish I could say I’m surprised, but I’m not. Elections have consequences, folks. Now we must focus on how best to move forward.
In 2024, I voted for JAG attorney and military veteran Tim Stringham for Maricopa County Recorder. Like many voters, I believed that in a county still recovering from costly audits and conspiracies, trust in our election systems was paramount, and we deserved a leader who could move us forward, not dwell in past fallacies and build trust.
