DOWNTOWN

This day is your last chance to see Glendale Glitters for the season

More downtown events on the way

Saturday marks your last chance to see downtown Glendale lit up for Christmas.

The 29th edition of Glendale Glitters first illuminated Nov. 21, and will turn off at 10 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 7. The display is in Murphy Park, at 5850 W. Glendale Ave.

This year also saw the debut of a new feature for the festivities, the Light the World Giving Machines. The vending machines are on site and provide residents an opportunity to donate to selected local and global charities.
