Third-party may investigate inappropriate sexual misconduct at Centennial High

Debate sparked over mandatory reporting by administrators

Peoria Unified School District governing board will consider retaining the services of a third-party investigator to look into allegations regarding knowledge of inappropriate sexual misconduct of two teachers at Centennial High School.

There has been a lot of public interest in investigations over the last year of teachers Haley Beck and Angela Burlaka, who are no longer with the district and have pending charges with the Maricopa County Attorney’s Office.

The teachers are alleged to have had inappropriate sexual misconduct with a former Centennial football player.
