These major Peoria roads will be receiving improvements soon

Peoria roads including Olive Avenue from Loop 101 to 99th Avenue, as well as 83rd Avenue from Thunderbird Road to Skunk Creek Bridge, are about to see some improvements.

Peoria City Council approved contracts with Nesbitt Contracting Co. totalling about $3.5 million to update the roads in these areas.

About $1.7 million will go to Olive Avenue and about $1.8 million will go to 83rd Avenue.
