There's a new chip on the ol' block in Peoria

City lands Frito-Lay distribution center

A giant in the chip world soon will be taking up residence in the city of Peoria.

It’s not the chips in your cars and devices, but the chips alongside your favorite sandwich.

This week, construction began on Phase I of the 150-acre, eight-building Peoria Logistics Park on the northeast corner of Northern and 75th avenues.
