Thelma G. Kelly, 87Sun City West resident Thelma G. Kelly died Oct. 3, 2007, in Tempe.A funeral mass will be said at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 19002 N. 128th Ave., Sun City West, 9:30 a.m. Friday, Oct. 19. Inurnment will follow at Sunland Memorial Park, Sun City.Ms. Kelly was born March 28, 1920 in Denver. She later moved to Laramie, Wyo., where she spent more than 25 years working for the Union Pacific Railroad. She moved to Arizona in 1968 and retired from the State of Arizona Finance Department in 1980. She moved to Sun City West shortly thereafter.She is preceded in death by her husband, Thomas C. Kelly.Ms. Kelly is survived by two daughters, Sonjia Painter of Midland, Texas, and Linda Neuser of Chandler; two granddaughters; and two great-granddaughters.Donations in lieu of flowers can be made in Ms. Kelly's name to Hospice of the Valley, 1510 E. Flower St., Phoenix, AZ 85014.
