The band later became the Red, White and Blues Band and eventually became The Tubes when they all relocated to San Francisco in 1969.

From 1975 to 2005 the band charted 12 albums and nine singles during their career. The remaining members of The Tubes reunited in Phoenix for induction into the Arizona Music and Entertainment Hall Of Fame in September of 2007, the Hall reported.

The tour kicks off this month in Seattle. The Romantics had to cancel due to an unforeseen medical situation.

The festival features artists that exploded in the pop culture zeitgeist in the early to mid-1980s thanks mainly to the high rotation of their music videos on MTV.

A portion of proceeds from ticket sales will go toward food banks locally in each market.

Tickets start at $53.50 and are available at totallytubularfestival.com.
