The Thumb offers July fun, specials in Scottsdale

The unique Scottsdale spot that is The Thumb, offering a gas station, car wash, BBQ bistro, artisan gift shop boutique all in one, has planned some family fun events during July.
On Saturday, July 15, bring the whole family to The Thumb from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. for a BBQ lunch and free face painting for the kids during Family Fun Day. Patrons can shop, plan a game of chess and enjoy the large fish tank.
Then, only on Sundays throughout the month of July, treat yourself to an old-fashioned ice cream sundae for a special cost of $8 for one, or $10 for two with the purchase of any entree. Sundaes are made with 10% butterfat vanilla and chocolate soft serve ice cream, Ghirardelli chocolate syrup, caramel, whipped cream, with a cherry on top.
The Thumb, 9393 E. Bell Road, has been featured on Food Network’s “Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives.” Their slow-smoked, Kansas City-style BBQ ribs, brisket, chicken, and pulled pork is award-winning.
