The Singletons celebrates 20 years in the Valley

Support single-parent families facing cancer

The Singletons, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization serving the needs of single-parent families battling cancer, has announced its 20th anniversary of providing consistent support, community and hope to families across Arizona.

Founded in 2006, The Singletons was created to address a critical gap in support for single parents navigating a cancer diagnosis while continuing to care for their families, according to a press release. Over the past two decades, the organization has grown into a vital resource in the Valley, delivering essential services that help ease the daily burdens these families endure.

A cornerstone of The Singletons’ fundraising efforts is its annual event, which brings the community together in support of its mission. This past year, the organization hosted Philanthropic Foodies, featuring top local chefs, including a James Beard Award winner, alongside craft cocktails, live music and a curated dining experience set in an intimate Paradise Valley home. The event raised more than $75,000, directly benefiting the cause.
