Struggle is real for adults raising young children, caring for aging relatives

Ashley and Jebediah Ramsey moved their two children and Ashley’s grandmother from Delaware to Surprise in August of last year.

That was simply one of the recent adventures in their multigenerational journey.

As part of the “sandwich generation” — younger or middle-aged adults who are raising young children and caring for an aging relative at the same time — the Ramseys have many stressors.
