Normally, this vacant, wooden, western-style cart sitting along W. Deer Valley Drive at N. Executive Way goes mostly unnoticed. But a few weeks ago, Dotty Derus (PRIDES Section 15 monitor) along with her husband Jim Derus and their visiting son Lee and his wife Susan from Sheboygan Falls, Wisconsin decided to change things a little for the fall holidays.
They decorated the cart with festive fall color plants and figures prior to Halloween, and it will remain that way for several more weeks, as the Thanksgiving holiday approaches.
While visiting, Lee and Susan also helped with the PRIDES clean-up on the Saturday morning during the stay. Dotty and Jim are celebrating a 23rd wedding anniversary this month as PRIDES.
