The Irish Cowboy opening Saturday in Florence

With its shiny wooden paneling and tables, items from the old country adorning the place and the colors of the Irish flag everywhere, the Irish Cowboy will call up an air of a pub in Ireland.

Florence residents will finally get a chance to wet their whistles with Guinness and eat some Irish grub as the long-awaited the Irish Cowboy opens this weekend.

The pub will open its doors starting at 9 a.m. Saturday. It is located at 305 N. Main St.
