The Grand picks its new leader in Surprise

Hochman becomes GM for retirement community

After nearly 20 years working for a retirement community in Surprise, Jeff Hochman lives by the advice he would tell any youth and his younger self: “Show up, work hard and be patient.”

His hard work and patience has paid off as he became general manager at The Grand, formerly known as Sun City Grand, effective July 7.

“I have worked for a Sun City/Del Webb property since I was 19 years old,” said Hochman, who turns 50 in October.
