The Cure adds Glendale to world tour stops

The Cure’s world tour is coming to Glendale this summer.

The Rock and Roll Hall of Famers will perform at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, May 18 at Desert Diamond Arena, 9400 W. Maryland Ave., as part of their Shows of a Lost World Tour. The North American leg goes from May through July.

Scottish post-punk/indie rock band The Twilight Sad will open each show on the 30-date run.

Tickets will be available via Ticketmaster on Wednesday, March 15, and will require registration to access.

The English rock band was formed in 1978.

Other shows coming to Desert Diamond Arena include Carrie Underwood (Saturday), Katt Williams (March 24), MANÁ (March 25) and Muse (April 2).
