OPINION — It is clear that the Democrats’ strategy for the midterms is to demonize anything and everything President Trump says or does. Now they have decided to demonize ICE and law enforcement to their agenda.
First, I would like to thank every member of ICE, law enforcement, and our U.S. military members for putting their lives on the line for us all each and every day. They are the true heroes of our communities. And as a former law enforcement officer, I can never give members of ICE enough credit for the incredible work they do.
ICE was formed in 2003 under President Bush and has been used by every president since to enforce immigration laws and work side by side with other law enforcement agencies.
